Bill started his own garage and home building company in 1986, and through growth and acquisition created the
market-leading Spanbild Holdings Limited. Bill worked hands-on in the business until 1994, gradually stepping back into a directorship role with the appointment
of a general manager and, subsequently, managing director. Bill is the owner of Spanbild Projects Limited through the
Gee Family Holdings company.

Saskia is a professionally trained and internationally accredited executive and life coach, facilitator, and speaker, with significant experience in working with individuals and corporate teams, including Fonterra, IAG, Christchurch City Council, ANZ, AgResearch
and CDHB. Saskia holds an M.Com (1st Class Hons)
in Business Administration and a B.A. in Languages.

Prior to becoming a coach, Saskia enjoyed a successful marketing career, working in Sydney as a Brand Manager for multinational Unilever, and then back in Christchurch in the marketing team for Versatile Buildings. Saskia is the daughter of Bill and Gillian Gee – owners of the Spanbild Group and is also a Director of Spanbild NZ Limited.





With extensive experience within the Spanbild Group leadership team, Wade is now responsible for the management and development of Spanbild Projects.

Utilising Spanbild Projects’ proven experience in factory-manufactured buildings and components, Wade and the team are focused on providing leading-edge panelised, modular and volumetric building solutions to the New Zealand building industry.

Leading an experienced, professional team, and reporting to Director Saskia Clements, Wade is responsible for the overall management of the company and the results it delivers to customers, staff and shareholders.

Scott is a highly accurate and skilled Quantity Surveyor, with over 15 years’ experience in a wide range of development projects in both NZ and Scotland.

With a background in social and modular housing developments in the UK, Scott brings a high level of understanding of the pre-fabricated buildings sector that is invaluable to Spanbild Projects.  In the local market, Scott spent four years working on the Christchurch re-build programme for one of the country’s leading project management companies.

Scott’s core focus is ensuring we utilise and maximise the very strong supply chain available to the Spanbild Group of companies to generate commercial solutions that offer unique and compelling value to our clients.





Geoff brings extensive project management processes and skills to his role, honed over a 30-year career that has seen him work extensively in both NZ and the UK. Geoff has specialised in medium to large-scale residential and commercial developments and has significant experience in the social housing sector in the UK. As a qualified builder and developer in his own right, Geoff understands the unique challenges and pressures of building projects and has developed
a style that delivers peace of mind and significant attention to detail.

Geoff and his team are responsible for delivering
a quality building experience for all our customers, harnessing the strength of the Spanbild Group
sub-contractor and supplier portfolio, with a clear
focus on quality project management systems and efficiencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Jo’s core role is to manage and take responsibility for Spanbild Projects financial management
systems and reporting and to establish positive
collaborative working relationships with our customers and suppliers.

Jo also provides the wider Spanbild Projects team with broad administrative support and generally effects the smooth running of our office.

A key member of the close-knit management team, Jo provides key support for our Health and Safety programmes and obligations and also assists the project management team in the areas of legislative compliance and reporting.






Sandra has provided design services to the Versatile Homes and Spanbild Projects business units for the past three years. With a flair for effective use of space and materials and a strongly customer-focused work ethic, Sandra has been involved in designing many of Spanbild Projects landmark  buildings. These have included the players’ facility at AMI Stadium and new Woolston Club Sports pavilion for the FIFA Under 20 World Cup being held in Christchurch.

Sandra also specialises in the design of medium density social housing developments, with a focus on space maximisation and amenity creation, and creates the designs for the private spec home developments Spanbild Projects delivers into local markets.

Wouter leads the design team for Spanbild Projects which has architectural and structural design capabilities. They follow a project from concept design through to building consent, fabrication and on-site construction. Wouter and his team have experience in design of timber, hot-rolled steel, cold-formed steel, concrete and structural insulated panels. They focus on pre-fabricated panelised and modular design of residential, education and commercial projects.

Wouter has a Masters in steel and timber structures from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. After moving to New Zealand, he gained a Doctorate in timber engineering from the University of Canterbury. He is also a Chartered Professional Engineer with a practice field in Structural Engineering. Shortly after graduating he joined the Spanbild Group and has been supporting various parts of the business with his structural engineering skills. His highly technical background combined with his practical approach and attention for detail make him an excellent designer.
